Unlike conventional steel fire extinguishers, our P50 models boast a standard 10-year warranty, thanks to their construction from robust and corrosion-resistant materials. With an impressive fire rating of 75F (the highest attainable for this type, akin to wet chemical fire extinguishers), it effectively covers large deep-fat fryers containing up to 75 litres of oil.
Additionally, it is safe for use around electricals up to 1000V. The P50 6 litre Class F fire extinguisher proudly carries the BSi Kitemark and holds CE, PED, and EN3 approval. Inspecting the 6 litre Class F P50 Fire Extinguisher is straightforward, with step-by-step instructions on the back for your convenience. This also provides a space for you to log maintenance using a marker pen, plus there is an app available for Google and Apple devices which you can use to register and log annual maintenance. The extinguisher is equipped with a pressure regulation gauge, complemented by a secondary gauge for added assurance. Furthermore, a special magnet is included to verify the functionality of both gauges.

P50 annual maintenance checks involve the following:
- Visually checking the gauge is reading in the green segment and the safety pin and tamper tag are in place.
- Removing the magnet from the base of the unit and checking the magnetic gauge (the needle should move to show it is not stuck and reading the correct pressure).
- Check the extinguisher is within the life expectancy by the colour date stud.
- Sign the back of the extinguisher with a permanent marker pen.
